For all desires and purposes, I don’t have a British family so why should I let my girl play with a particularly historically British tea set? She won’t need practice as I am sure she will not be hosting any tea parties in the distant future. What I am willing to speculate on is that someday she is going to be a mother, just like I am to her. That was the vivid daydream I had when I saw how lovable and lovely doll strollers are.
The Early Initiation Into Motherhood
I wish I was able to practice being a mother right from childhood. I suspect my child’s even a better mummy to her baby doll than I am to her! My girl just looks so lovable taking care of her baby doll and loves taking it for long strolls in the park in its doll stroller. The play tea set that somebody gave as a gift for her second birthday is now the resting place of a kilo of dust. She really hasn’t touched the play set in months now and it doesn’t look like she’ll be in a few more months or maybe years. She is having a good time at the same time that I am just awed and in a gushing mood whenever I watch her play and push the doll stroller around.
Freedom In Playing
I think the rationale why she adores the doll push chair more than any toy she has is that it gives her freedom. Instead of playing in an isolated spot for hours on end and the necessity to tidy up before she will move to another spot, the doll push-chair permits her play from one place to another without needing to pack up everything before moving.
Indeed, a doll stroller would be the best gift a little girl would receive.
